Canine guardians are encouraging fellow pet owners to check their dogs' immunity against the distemper virus, which has left some animals in a life-threatening struggle. This highly contagious disease spreads through airborne exposure and direct contact, causing respiratory, gastrointestinal, and central nervous system issues in dogs. Unfortunately, there's no cure for this ailment, and it does not transfer to humans.
